Perry Township Kiwanis Hosts Bike Rodeo

Perry Township Kiwanis is hosting their 3rd bicycle safety rodeo with Riley safety store and Baxter YMCA on Thursday, May 14th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Baxter YMCA.  The event is geared to kids ages 4 to 12. Kids will go through the course and learn how to ride safely and learn rules of the road.  Each kid will get a custom fitted bicycle helmet.  We will be giving away two donated bicycles and each kid will get a goodie bag with coupons from local merchants.  Kiwanis will also grill hot dogs with chips and a drink to all.  McGruff the crime fighting dog and possibly the Chick-Fil-A cow will make an appearance.  The event is being held in conjunction with the YMCA cycle-a-thon fundraiser.  There will be fitness stations for all to try out.
